HEAVYPAINT Classic will continue to be available for download from this website and on app store / google play as HEAVYPAINT Classic. However, it will not be updated with new features or bug fixes. If you have a HEAVYPAINT Classic license, you can use it to open and continue to use the app on your current device.

To restore, using the same apple account as the original purchase, press buy to go through the purchase process again. Apple will recognize the previous purchase on your apple account and unlock without charging.

• Go to Windows Control Panel
• Pen & Windows Ink Settings
• Check "let me use my pen as a mouse in some desktop apps"
• Disable windows ink in Wacom/Huion/XP Pen Tablet preferences
• Turn on "WinInk" in HEAVYPAINT options menu

• Close HEAVYPAINT.
• Open Windows Explorer, go to %AppData%/HEAVYPAINT and delete user_prefs.cfg, this will reset the user preferences.
• On Mac, open Library > Application Support > HEAVYPAINT and delete user_prefs.cfg.
• On Linux: /home/<yourusername>/.local/share/HEAVYPAINT/ and delete user_prefs.cfg.
• Also in the HEAVYPAINT folder, make a copy of the Sketchbook folder somewhere safe, then delete Tools and Sketchbook folder.
• Also delete textures.cfg This will reset everything to factory defaults.

Go to macOS System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General and make sure that the option for "Allow apps downloaded from" is set to "App Store and identified developers." Right click HEAVYPAINT and choose open. For more details, see this Apple Support article: Safely open apps on your Mac.

Windows defender blocks any program downloaded from the internet that doesn't have a signing certificate. To work around this, if you see the "Windows protected your PC" screen, press "More Info", then select "Run anyway".

HEAVYPAINT exports pixels, so you'll have to do a little math for printing, but it's not too bad. Just multiply the number of inches X pixels per inch (ppi) to get your final resolution. So, if you want to print 4" X 4" at 300 ppi, then export at 1200 X 1200px. Or, for 8.5" X 11" @ 300 ppi, export at 2550 X 3300px.

Open top left options menu, then click "Unlock Pro".

For HEAVYPAINT Classic, The Desktop license works on Mac, Linux and Windows while the Mobile version is a separate purchase on the appstore or google play store.
